Hello @pseu and Hookers.

Last night a random memory came into my head. Remember when you provided fashion commentary for the DNC 2004, @pseu? One of the funniest things I've ever heard on the station. Oh, those were the days.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm Krys O.:

Tim was in a fine production of Three Men in a Boat which also starred Michael Palin: youtu.be...

Is it just me or does Timmy Sean sound like an exact clone of Elvis Costello on that "In California" tune?? Coulda fooled me! And I have been listening to EC since 1977!
  12:32pm Gerry from Miami:

Pseu, are these bands actually singing in such perfect harmony or has Auto-Tune taken over the industry?

  12:49pm Gerry from Miami:

Hey, Denny! Great you could drop in! Pseu plays some incredibly good stuff, as you are aware. Check out that Timmy Sean. I think he's a comer. And both the Aerovons and the Resonars can sing harmony like the Vienna Boys' Choir.
  12:49pm Chris:

Hi Pseu, off today. sanding metal on the deck. monkey balls. I don’t even like that term but you brought it up!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm efd:

this is the second day in a row I heard someone on the air wonder aloud if they did the legal ID during their mic break and it makes me SO HAPPY because that happens to me at least once every show and it makes me feel like I'm losing my mind.
  1:07pm Mike Sin:

Taking advantage of the weather right now — sneaked out to the park for some lunch and nobody is here! Just cranking up your show live and loud through my phone. Sounds great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm efd:

I should also add I'm really enjoying the show today, but that should really go without saying.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08pm Krys O.:

Wendy!! Hope you're keeping cool.

I was asked about taking vacation days at work and since I don't go anywhere, I'm thinking about my go-to plan of taking 5-6 Wednesdays off. It breaks the week up and I can catch up on all the work that's left for me on Thursday and Friday before the weekends. My last true vacation was in 2002. I'm holding out for the 20th anniversary of that.

@eastvanhalen I got a little bit of a "Get Down On It" by Kool & the Gang vibe, but that might not be what you're thinking of.

Rundgren finally got his pass into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Halleluhah! When he steps to the mic, his first words should be "Hello, it's me!"

Damn, I missed the whole health conversation, I'm scrolling back, and again agreeing with Krys O. ... I know so many amazing seniors. I used to write a health column, interviewed Oleda Baker (Google her), she's in her 80s, looks 50s. Ageism sucks, so many inspiring people over 80. Whooo! Fantastic Blunstone tune!
  2:18pm eva:

good afternoon. death is inevitable. i would like to depart on my terms. it’s time they made that legal. david bowie did it in style. btw-did I miss the troll?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm eastvanhalen:

Anyone else read The American Way of Death by Jessica Mitford? Absolutely hilarious and scathing expose of the American funeral industry. One of my all-time favourite books.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm Krys O.:

@eva: It is legal in NJ.
  2:19pm Jameson57:

How much would a DNR tattoo cost, do you think?
Avatar 2:21pm βrian:

Would having a DNR preclude a nice strong cup of espresso?
  2:22pm eva:

@ krys o. didn’t know that. very progressive!
Avatar 2:26pm βrian:

No way in hell I'm moving to NJ, though. Is that the only U.S. state, do you know?
Swag For Life Member 2:26pm bk845:

Maybe 60 year old runners are just trying to hasten their death? It's like when I go run around outside in lightning storms...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm eastvanhalen:

Living my best life as a broken aged person involves me and my cat hanging out in bed listening to the show. And getting non-DNR tattoos because they're prohibitively expensive and I can finally afford them. Also, running squicks me.
Swag For Life Member 2:27pm mdashkin:

If not running, how do you feel about walking really quickly?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm eastvanhalen:

Ice skating, on the other hand, is rad
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm Jason from Houston:

You sure run a great radio program!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm Krys O.:

Low impact walking is more my speed. I average 5-7 miles a day. I also lost 42 lbs since January.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Krys O.:

Here is the law enacted in 2019: www.nj.gov...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Thats exactly the non-point Pseu! And it allows me to ingest massive quantities of beer and ice-cream whilst not blimping out.
Avatar 2:29pm Frank Verplanck:

Rowing is less impact on old knees and joints and you're sitting down the whole time.
Avatar 2:29pm Pseu Braun:

runners are addicted to dopamine. That is all. You will run til you die for that fix.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Avatar 2:30pm βrian:

@Krys O: Congratulations. Well done!

For me the fasted way to lose pounds is to take a culinary tour of London.
  2:30pm eva:

@brian there are 8 states. maybe i’ll donate my body to the forensic anthropology center and be close to nature.
enjoyed today’s show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm Krys O.:

Doh, Brian! I actually incorporated more plant-based foods. Not a vegan, thanks.

Evidence seems to indicate that the problem is that too many MALE pop-stars are allowed their own affairs, not that Ms Spears were competent to manage hers.

Was trying to figure why she was sounding like Britneybot-2000, and looked it up to find out it is produced by Giorgio Moroder
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm Krys O.:

BTW-I don't know how long or short my life will be, but I'm doing what I can to help myself. I live a marginalized life (approaching senior years, never married, no kids, working poor, etc.). I have to show courage in the face of that and also remember that there are folks who have even less privilege than I do.

Get yourself cremated, mix the ashes with soil, get a sapling of your favorite tree. And plant that tree with your ashes in your yard, (or your special spot in the forest). The Earth needs the trees and your energy will continue to live. Within the Earth.
