This is great. I feel like they could have used this tune at the end of 2001: A Space Oddysey when he is traveling on hyperspeed through space

Came back from doing errands and man o man it's cook city out there, 97° feels like 111°. So do not go outside if you can help it. Not so much for people with air conditioned cars, but for people that depend on public transportation.

(They also put out an "As if in real time" CD in 2000 that combined "As if by remote" and "In real time")
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm

This just in: blasting noise into your face is more effective than air conditioning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm

A couple years ago WFMU played a Nurser and I went hard down that rabbit hole, ordering all their cd's. No regrets. They really are great and I am glad they're getting more attention. Thank you WFMU!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17pm

In my youth I had a plan to try to get a license plate that read "PIG F ER" with the absurd justification that it was short for "Pig Farmer" (but somehow never got around to it)

And I gotta go. Nice hanging for a minute. Happy Tuesday!

I'm trying to buy a house in Albquerque. Offers are due often 48 hours after it goes on the market. The music here is so darn good! Laddio Bolocko is an FMU hit for the last few years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17pm

The new Chrome album (vinyl) arrived today, I wasn't expecting it until August, but the digital component isn't up (but for the title track), hmm...
Avatar 5:19pm

Hawklords sound inspired by Eno with their repetitive riffs.
