	♥ 9:46pm mariano: Handy: Caro literally means "dear" though it's almost always used to mean "expensive." It's used poetically in the other sense though (sounds old-school, like using "dear" for "expensive" in English), unless you meant to call me your expensive friend. I mean, I do charge top dollar and I've always been up-front about it. The more common equivalent of "dear" is "querido" which means "beloved" but literally means "desired" which always made me wonder. "My desired friend."

	♥ 11:25pm Mr. Pumpy: Over time, many of their songs have given me, or rather scratched the same itch, which quality doom metal does. Is it simply the willingness to lean into deliberate stretches of repetition? Maybe. I think it goes deeper.
	♥ 11:26pm Stevel: I mean, the chimp as Ron Mael. I knew who Sparks were before I heard them, so I get that joke. The visual sense, from only album covers, is indelible. (That's not a word I get to use a lot.)

UV-TV formed in Gainesville, Florida, in the mid-2010s, but by the turn of the decade they’d relocated to New York City. Their first release after moving to NYC, 2021’s Always Something, was one of EFD’s favorites of that year; they’ll play some songs from that album as well as some new songs from an upcoming release. Tune in for some post-punk jangle-drone!
Wed. May 22nd, Noon - 3pm: The Prof. Fuzz 63 (More info...)
The Prof. Fuzz 63 are a three-piece family band from just north of Dallas. They’re also literally a garage band. Their garage/practice space is adorned with photos of The Cramps, among others, and singer uses an old telephone handset for a mic. What else do you need to know? OK, they’re also playing May 22 at Berlin in NYC and May 23 at Finnegan’s in Hoboken.

It's used poetically in the other sense though (sounds old-school, like using "dear" for "expensive" in English), unless you meant to call me your expensive friend. I mean, I do charge top dollar and I've always been up-front about it. The more common equivalent of "dear" is "querido" which means "beloved" but literally means "desired" which always made me wonder. "My desired friend."
