Halloooooo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm fred:

Welcome back Kurt, nice to hear your show again
I just read that Joel Chadabe passed away earlier this month. He was a pioneer of computer music
Avatar 3:31pm Beast of Boonton:

Is Fabio ok? Did he fall from his Segway scooter or something?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm chresti:

A ruptured disc, I think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm Booz:

Hello Kurt & minor minotaurs. Loved the recent review of Damon Locks BME
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm Carmichael:

Back problems.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm chresti:

*or a slipped disc?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm steveo:

Oh! I thought it was not sounding like Fabio's picks. Great to hear you, Kurt. I hope Fabio is feeling better soon

I recently heard you on a different area radio station, which was also excellent, but there was no comment board, and I had to keep my feelings (and comments) bottled up inside.
Avatar 3:41pm wizard frog:

Oh this reminds me of Alessandro Bosetti's 'make a series of photographs, of chance encountered people, sharing a set of headphones, listen to music, one of the earpieces in one person's ear, the second in the others........" that used to get played on this show :D
Swag For Life Member 3:42pm Bruce S.:

Chresti I think Clay said it was a slipped disk this morning
Avatar 3:45pm slugluv1313:

i do not know the details, but it sounded like some sort of back/disk issue?
i ended up in the ER some years ago, turned out to be a "herniated disk with compression on the spine in two places" -- it was a f*cking NIGHTMARE, so i hope with all my being that this is NOT what Fabio is dealing with
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm ChukAmok:

Hello all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

"back failure"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm ChukAmok:

Man o man is back pain the absolute WORST.
Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Bruce S.:

Back pain is the worst I experienced
Avatar 3:49pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...reminds me of Starship by MC5 (for SunRa) of all things ...tho' not exactly about Awe here I gather...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm blee:

Get well Fabio, back problems are no joke.
Avatar 3:50pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...tho' perhaps SpaceRace & ColdWar aren't unrelated...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm fred:

@slugluv1313: I think "herniated disc" is the diagnosis, unfortunately
Avatar 3:52pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

HOLY CRAP!
Avatar 3:52pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

MINNY-TARS!
Avatar 3:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Yeah I read over @ Stork Club that he couldn't move enuff to get up. Hope to gawd there's a remedy for that !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm ChukAmok:

It has been far too long since Minotaurs was last on the air. Today is better for its return.
Avatar 3:55pm Fox:

As someone with multiple disc issues, I have utter empathy for back pain / injury. The greatest thing that ever happened to me was to be gifted a TENS Unit. It's the GREATEST relief of nerve / back pain you can experience without nodding out.
Avatar 3:55pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Just got here, but re: wizard frog @3:41 -- i'm sure the last time I heard Bosetti/Trophies/etc was on this very program, ages ago..

Avatar 4:00pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

We did have Trophies down here for Sonic Circuits festival a ton of years ago. Watching that coordination live was stunning.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm ChukAmok:

Any one know if The End is Danish or Norwegian? Pretty positive they aren't Swedes or Finns based on their name spellings.

@Kurt - I was guessing wither Gustaffson or the drummer of the Thing once you said they share a member.
Avatar 4:38pm Kurt Gottschalk:

i'm still sad the thing ended but the end makes it a bit easier.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm Carmichael:

Just getting back on the list. I've had 2 back surgeries over the last 15 years or so. Have never had any more problems, thankfully.
