Fishbone was one of the greatest underrated bands ever IMO and amazing live!! At The Ritz in the 80 s Angelo Moore climbed the speaker stacks, jumped from the top to the balcony and then jumped into the audience from the balcony. What a show!!!!

One day around 1989-1990 I was in Tower Records, and they were playing Fishbone's Truth and Soul, and I just loved it and had to have it. I took it home and put it on...and hated it. After a couple more tries, I traded it with a bunch of other I-hate-its to Downtown Music.

Fishbone was a great live act--their recordings never got their live energy. I can still do the Fishbone finger thing. My dad once sat next to Angelo Moore on an airplane and found it to be an entertaining experience (but he never got his pen back).

I almost saw Fishbone live. CU Boulder in late 80's. Newly remodeled student center. People standing on tables and chairs just before band was to come on. Announcement made that people must get down and back from stage. No one budged. Concert cancelled!

Hey Scott, your brave attempts at Welsh pronunciation remind me of John Peel's back in the day (Fflaps were a regular on his shows, as well as all the others you mentioned). Rev, when I saw Fishbone, the guitarist was doing the acoustic intro to Sunny Saturday. When it switched to electric, he THREW the acoustic offstage and pulled the electric around. Also, the various other members all ran offstage to the corners of the room and sang from there for a few verses. Choreographed chaos.
