@Heidee - good question. Actually, I've really enjoyed eating outdoors more when I get take out. Having a ban mi in the grass or enjoying a food truck burrito at a picnic table, et al. About 10 years ago I took a one off class on knife skills which actually really improved my cooking abilities.

@Mr. Pumpy - you aren't kidding! I'd only had dish washing jobs in kitchens so I never learned proper knife skills. I was amazed that gripping a knife properly to dice, cube, slice and chop really improved the quality of food I cooked. I took the class from a community college "continuing education" type deal.

I went to St Mary’s in Lübeck a few years ago. It has, I think, the biggest organ in the world (oo-er missus). The C bass pipe is almost 40ft long and the smallest is like a flute. They play it for about 20 minutes every day, and I managed to time it to be there to hear it. The force of it made a Swans gigs seem like child’s play.

At Uncle Milt's Pipe Organ Pizza, they'd show silent movies with organ accompaniment and at a couple of points of the evening, they'd play Mancini's Pink Panther theme and an employee would cavort among the diners in a ratty, moth-eaten Pink Panther costume.
