I was thinking- an instrumental "Spinning Song" - "women's work" - such as Ellmenreich's - Grandma used to play it on the piano. She dropped out of 8th grade to go to work in a silk mill.

speaking of Finland -- have been obsessing over the Kantele, its music -- especially the "older," more traditional types -- where/how might one acquire a Kantele? or would i just have to go to Finland and find someone who makes them (yeah, i DID say OBSESSING, hah!)
