Hi Jan, and fellow low-land lowlifes! Can't believe I missed a song about Telstar. Did it sound Meek-ish?

Mr Fab:

Jan, have you played th John Breughel Four before? This ROCKS!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, I just notice that I played it on jan. 13 this year. Strangely that didn't come up this afternoon in the search, maybe another typo ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm
MHLee:

The Outsiders seem like a band the could slip into any role. Sometimes they sound Beatlesque and sometimes a garage band and sometimes really psych
Avatar 12:56pm
HyperDose:

Wow, Mr Fab with the steel trap! 🧠
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm
Jan Turkenburg:

It depends which album you take I guess. The second album was psychedelic. Wally was quickly bored with the garage rock "these days, everybody has long hair and calls himself 'ousider' ) and soon went into an entirely different direction
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm
MHLee:

"I Love Her Still" has got to be one of my favorite songs of the era from anyone anywhere. It's one of those songs that I can picture a film to accompany.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I second that
Avatar 1:07pm

Little Wildrooster, that famous Dutch Stones cover band
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32pm
Jan Turkenburg:

LOL
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm
MHLee:

I'm also fascinated by that type of band. Been listening to Zambian rock recently... and apparently, there were Beatles and Stones type bands in the 1960s but no one had recording equipment. Would love to hear those!
Avatar 1:34pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm
