Strange but true--Dwight Fiske (who did some risque stuff) had several recorded in the mid-1930s released on his Fiskana label. Some of them were recorded by RCA Victor who actually released them in their 12" pop record numerical series, but as Fiskana records, not Victors, so they have what then were catalogue numbers in the lower 36000s, as they were in the mid-1930s.

One can only love those copy cat covers!
Avatar 2:48pm

I collect these bad cover version LPs. It's best when they get the words hopelessly wrong.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm

@beany, The Eastern Europeans are quite good at that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm

There's one where it's the best of Hank Williams but like a psych lp and I need it

Jay Pemberton:

I sent Darryl several of those Hit 45 covers....they're screamingly funny!
Avatar 2:49pm

The Mitch Miller version of GPAC is on his last album PEACE SING ALONG from 1970. Recorded at Columbia's 30th Street studio, mixed and mastered at Atlantic, who released it. It was Miller's last album.
