I probably told that before, but when one day one of my many bosses (a noise musician) was on a road trip and lost the signal on the car's radio. While looking for another frequency, he got interference and his then 6 year old daughter exclaimed "it's daddy's music!"

Cool, you are beginning with some film music. This is a great score though the film is okay. Yared scored Beineix's previous film "The Moon in the Gutter" too. Beineix stopped making films many years ago, sadly. Diva is one of my favorite films from the 80s and it was shown at BAM a couple of years ago with Neon Indian, introducing, great night.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34am
Acid Cazh:

Aww, sorry you got sick Joe!

The most likely way it happened? Surfaces. Cold and flu can be passed on surfaces, unlike COVID (which is almost always passed by aerosolized particulates that the virus clings to).

We're taking ALL kinds of precautions against breathing each other's air, but less precaution with surfaces (since it came to light that COVID is almost never communicated that way).

Moral of the story: Wash yer hands, kids. ;)

The #1 most effective treatment for flu is a TON of sleep. Whiskey is a great analgesic against aches and pains, take some tylenol for the fever, then take some Benadryl to sleeeeeeeeep. Good luck!

Some virus (which your body has hundreds of thousands of strains of, btw) can lay dormant in the body for years before getting around to doing real damage (like making you sick). Whether this applies to influenza infections, I don't know. But this is what a doctor friend explained to me when I asked why I was getting occasional mild colds in the past year (despite very much masked and isolated during this time).
