@tvp - i grew up near Washington Crossing, NJ. We had an huge Beech tree in our back yard that an arborist told us was over 250 years old (back in the '70s). My dad put a sign on it "George Washington piddled here"

proud to say I finally told spectrum to kiss my ass as I am in the underserved borough of brooklyn where they have a monopoly. I called TMOBILE and now on cell internet. several times faster than upgraded spectrum, which periodically crapped out even at it's 1984 speed upload speed

yes coop buddy from otherhalf hipped me to why those cans don't taste as good as the draft...plus the michael jackson angle on those small cans, making your hands look bigger or whatever

At least we have a choice of Verizon or Spectrum in my neck of the woods. Two bad options are better than one bad choice, I guess.

That Algernon Cadwallader is apparently old, but new to me. But had a Promise Ring sound to it. Any info? (Emo music is my guilty pleasure)

yeah, PA band, apparently the "new emo" heroes.

@xtrakrispy - hahaha, great minds think alike. I don't really mind being surrounded by Revolutionary War history too much here in Central Jersey personally, but I can see why others may find it to be too much.

Also, Comcast is pretty much the only broadband provider where I am. So, yeah.

Dealing with minor kerfuffles here at work and not able to devote full attention to listening even on the down low volume. It's imperative that I check the Ark-Ives for the gaps.

Did Pseu mention abc evening news hottie? Wish I could comment but reception in sheepshead bay via lousy antenna is spotty. I’m attracted to cbs Debra Norville; she’s a brain too bec she did good commentary during impeachment hearings, and inauguration.

Do the chix like cbs weather guy Lonnie Smith (name?)?

Bill in W.O.:

David Muir, that last treacly feel-good piece every night and his little "I'm too cute" smirk? Over the top. Whatever. Is Jeopardy on yet? But I used to look for reasons to stay up for World News Now when Diane Macedo was still doing the show so no stones and stuff.

herb and Bill in W.O. you're both SO off-track. Norville is a muppet and David Muir has massive news/editorial cred. I only HATE the opening of every newscast, that's my one thing. AS WE COME ON THE AIR
