Hi Mark!
  4:10pm The Butterman:

Camping in Mammoth Caves, Kentucky one summer sundown,
Sweet bagpipe sounds from a far off location through the thick, humid tropical heat
Iron man blasting suddenly from the next campsites truck stereo
Dickhead Ed ( as he introduced himself to me earlier) blasting Ozzy saying “ that will drown it out” with a toothless grin- killed the beauty of the moment. Luckily he did not kill me which was a concern of mine after having told the park ranger that Dickhead Ed was shooting deer with his wrist rocket.

Hi Scott! Nice show again!
Hey that interstellar object you mentioned has an exciting history/back story.
Avi Loeb, the Harvard astronomer wrote a book about it's behavior. He claims it is likely an alien spacecraft.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IV73Wdjtbf0
Avatar 4:21pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

They reckon now it'a a cookie-shaped piece of something like Pluto knocked off some other object coming in to say Hullo...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Treasure trove of "Long Black Veil": www.wfmu.org... There's a Johnny Cash selection in there, but not with Joni.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Mark Hurst:

I'm skeptical of the alien hypothesis. I figure that a super-advanced alien race wouldn't design its spaceship to look like a random chunk of rock... (or WOULD IT, gasp)
Avatar 4:24pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Interstellar Object Wigkey :
en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm Handy Haversack:

Though reading Avi Loeb's reasonsings is very interesting. Why other astronomers are viscerally opposed to his evidentiary tack is weird. I don't have a space dog in the space fight, but when thinking is opposed to dogma I tend to at least want to hear what thinking has to say.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm royvis:

The shape of the interstellar object may be an enormous rectangle, as thin as a sheet of paper, says Loeb.
  4:27pm chresti in auto:

Whatever you’re playing goes great with driving on the freeway!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm chris in the redwoods:

interstellar object enters solar system, reports back to home base. "meh," is the response it receives. interstellar object departs for another system.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm Handy Haversack:

"Mostly harmless."
Avatar 4:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Meanwhile - evidence for phosphine in the atmosphere of Venus - which on Earth can only result from Industry - or Life - appears - well - up in the air...
As for Interstellar Aliens - I've thot that the dimensions of Space work both ways: astronomical possibilities - but @ astronomical distances from each other... Well here's a thing we detect but can't identify. Not too unusual so far...
Avatar 4:37pm Monica:

ooohhh, love this harmonia 76:) but the whole enchilada of a show too, scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm chris in the redwoods:

then there's the time element, RevRab. life on a world closer to the center of the universe may have had millions of years head start on developing sophisticated technologies, or completely wiping itself out, if they're anything like humans. <shrugs>
Avatar 4:41pm βrian:

Works with driving in reverse on the gravel shoulder, too.
Avatar 4:41pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Life As We Know It : Proteins & in Liquids form bubbles & line up & replicate via Carbons... Might not be so unusual if same Elements & Forces all over. Life As We DON'T Know It might take some extrapolation that's less obvious... yet still same Elements & Forces if the continuity Science presumes...
chris - if it's an enormous sheet of paper - perhaps the Big Bang's shopping list...

@Mcgroovy You can squeeze him, he likes it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm Scott Williams:

@tim, thanks for that! ON it.
Avatar 5:24pm βrian:

Oh for a nice glass of wine.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm Handy Haversack:

The smell hound, not the instrument, McGroovey. But yes, the local Bagpipe Policy does call for squeezing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm Gaylord Fields:

Hi, Scott! I was also seduced by this Jon Mueller record, just this past Sunday. It's easy to let happen.
  5:25pm JBoogie:

1985 was like 1984 with extra mayo
  5:25pm JBoogie:

what year did Let's Hear It For The Boy come out?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26pm Handy Haversack:

Hey, Gaylord! Really enjoyed your interview in chickfactor!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm Scott Williams:

Hi Gaylord! So glad we share the love of this record - and this guy's a drummer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm Gaylord Fields:

Thx, Handy
Avatar 5:28pm Bas NL:

Nice this John Mueller. Bordering on Dark Ambient.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm McGroovey:

I liked plenty of music in 1984. But, oh, that gated snare [~~shudder~~]
  5:29pm Zephyr:

If Gail Zappa were alive she’d sue this guy.

  5:31pm Andres:

What a beautiful song!
Avatar 5:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Somehow reminded of Barry McGuire tune in President's Analyst ...the original one. Think it got dubbed out & replaced or something...
Avatar 5:36pm Bas NL:

J.Zunz album Hibiscus is very nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38pm Doug in JC:

A Micah fill in is pretty intriguing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Handy Haversack:

Arm zapping FTW! My day of fever and eye pain has faded into memory, and I'm sure if I ever manage to get out of the apt. again, I will be much relieved and destressed about it all.

You said it, Doug! I have been missing Micah's show lately -- looking forward to that! And to getting a fully zapped Scott back, of course.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm HyperDose:

Huzzah!
  5:40pm JBoogie:

sounds like that "vaccine" is working out great for everyone lol
  5:41pm JBoogie:

update us in 6 months when you grow a third ear
Avatar 5:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

So excellent to have had both my shots & feel quite different about taking pubic transport &tc.
...Only thing about six months is possibility of needing boosters ...especially if too many Vax Slackers don't get one & variants get too much opportunity. Thanks a lot for that if so...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Scott Williams:

@JBoogie, don't you remember how upset you got last week when everybody was very nice to you in opposition to your vaxviews? No pleas for oppression on my watch please
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm tim from champaign (now washington):

This sounds like Cookie Monster imitating Lemmy singing over the dance remix of the Knight Rider theme.
  5:43pm rf:

Wow I love this song
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44pm Handy Haversack:

My "nobody talks about Ministry anymore" hypothesis keeps running into some hard counterfactuals. Might need to revisit the underpinnings.
  5:44pm vanya moscow:

Yes!!!! Thank you Scott
  5:44pm ami ad:

Yes, what Scott Williams said.
  5:44pm Andres:

What Tim said!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm McGroovey:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm HyperDose:

@Tim Nailed it, dude!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm listener 126464:

Hello Scott, everybody. Been listening.
Avatar 5:45pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

People always talking about mixing Punk w/ Techno a new thing - & I'm always like - did I just imagine Ministry er what ??
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm chris in the redwoods:

what they all said about that track and that other thing :)
  5:47pm rf:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm Handy Haversack:

Put the Mormons on the case, McGroovey!

I broke out the binocs so I can watch the robins flirt. Is that creepy?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm Doug in JC:

Sexy Passerine is my new band name
  5:50pm rf:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm HyperDose:

Thank you, Scott for a marvelous show. I greatly appreciated the sounds of stillness as my electrons moved through the outside world on this lovely, sunny afternoon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm Scott Williams:
