Morphe': Some NYC literary landmarks have very surprisingly not received any sort of landmark status or so much as a commemorative plaque, such as 99 Ryerson in Brooklyn, where Whitman wrote most of "Leaves of Grass."
That three sisters act early on was fab too. Also, the blues duo that did some great stuff.

Right now, after 3-4 days of going down the "Twin Peaks" donut hold (as Mr. Pumpy termed it), I'm craving some of that Pacific Northwest mountain air.

the Bayou and only found HWY and Grocerery stores and work- car/boat yards ...
not a sign of water... sea air was there .. had to return before dark on the Hwy/Byway...
I did not realize how far and deep and hidden was te water ... I did meet lovely people...(2005???-6)??
Morphe': Wow, that is quite a trek. If you ever get the chance, it's worth going out west to Cajun country, around Lafayette/Oppeloosas, some lovely bayous around there.
Thanks, Gaylord and Therese and Crew, take care, everyone!
Thanks to the Skeleton Crew for keeping it going.
Looking forward to Juan, Pål, Jorg et al.
