Hello, it's cold here and i'm moving a tuning wheel around on a stereo to pick up a station here (in the midwest) that has been very staticky since it snowed a few days ago. There's two stations with the same K-Love format on both sides of it, so i'm trying to figure out the sweetspot to avoid the interference going on, and failing. Also it's cold here. Aside from that, it's been a fine day.

Stanley- Aside from the rare problems, the WFMU stream through TuneIn playing on a different speaker linked to my phone's bluetooth works all the time.

Weird thing is, it's just a problem involving one station and that old stereo. So I'll put that on another station until snow melts or something.

@tim: Don't tell me how to drive! (Kidding -- I had thought that one out, at least!)

We do, it turns out, have an immersion blender that someone regifted us and that we have never used. That's the magic blending stick, right?

Scott, that song you played by the Goatmen was only the third one I can recall that was actually about a racing car. "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" by Primus comes to mind, but who remembers Ray Peterson back in 1960 with his teen weeper, "Tell Laura I Love Her," about a driver who dies in a race crash? Songs like "Dead Man's Curve" by Jan and Dean and all those hotrod/Beach Boys tunes don't count because they weren't actually about "race" cars, just cars racing. Can any listeners think of some others?
