Avatar 3:05pm DJ Major Sally:

Avatar 3:06pm Debbie Davenport:

  3:07pm Milkies:

  3:17pm Milkies:

Avatar 3:17pm Debbie Davenport:

If this one doesn't get folks up and dancing they aren't feeling well!
  3:18pm zzmm:

I only know a few WIRED ballads. I wonder if there is such a genre exists.
Avatar 3:19pm DJ Major Sally:

Next Saturday I’ll be 52 😱, Wired Up will be the mourning after glisten for me!😉
Avatar 3:19pm Mr Fab:

DJ Major Sally, don’t let your radio fall in the bathtub, or you will really be wired up!

Unless you have no water in the tub. That would be the safest plan.
Avatar 3:19pm Debbie Davenport:

lol
Avatar 3:20pm DJ Major Sally:

Ha ha! Right?
Avatar 3:20pm Mr Fab:

zzmm: how about Bowie’s “Five Years”?
Avatar 3:20pm DJ Major Sally:

Hands are dry!
  3:21pm zzmm:

oh yeah. Also Marc Bolan sung a couple of those. that's about it for mi.
Avatar 3:21pm Naughty No No:

Sup Sean!!
Avatar 3:23pm Naughty No No:

more cowbell
Avatar 3:25pm Debbie Davenport:

I love it when songs say rock n roll in the lyrics.
  3:25pm zzmm:

Ballad of Mars and perhaps It's Gonna Be Me by Bowie counts?
Avatar 3:28pm Debbie Davenport:

Would some of the Paul and Barry Ryan songs be the kind of ballads you're talking about zzmm? I don't feel like I know for sure, but some of the songs I get into like Natural Gas get referenced by other people that way.
  3:28pm Cheree July:

Wow! Somebody did a cover of Quick Joey Small before Slaughter & the Dogs did!
Avatar 3:28pm Naughty No No:

Debbie loves Paul and Barry =)
Avatar 3:29pm Debbie Davenport:

I do! haha I have that picture up on my wall in a frame now.
Avatar 3:33pm Debbie Davenport:

Diggin on the Rolling Stones...
  3:33pm zzmm:

sorry I don't know "Paul and Barry Ryan". I will check. I meant it slow tempo melancholy but wired or glam?
Avatar 3:37pm Debbie Davenport:

I"m not as smart as don and noah about how to label stuff. I start getting in my head and just bond with it. I'm interested in them in an overall way. I first got super interested when they played Magical Spiel on the halloween show. Lots of weird baroque pop and some things considered glam or groovers, but I'm just going on what other people say. one of them married a sultan's daughter. I want to see a doc. I know there is at least one.
Avatar 3:37pm DJ Major Sally:

I got a record from Wills! Downliners Sect, no glam 45s this time!
Avatar 3:39pm Debbie Davenport:

zzmm some songs might be boring to some people. I don't know. I like it. Like some simple beautifully recorded pop songs on decca.
  3:45pm Milkies:

DUMP
Avatar 3:45pm DJ Major Sally:

Debbie I have most of Paul & Barry’s 60s output, there are many gems in their catalog! Their two LPs are highly recommended! “Pictures Of Today”/“Madrigal” is a favorite of mine!
Avatar 3:47pm Naughty No No:

the Dutch do it again
  3:47pm Milkies:

So dig that little piano & whistle part
Avatar 3:49pm ironybread:

Well that false-color hairy chest is MY hero
Avatar 3:52pm Debbie Davenport:

DJ Major Sally, thanks for the tip. I should get some collections. I have 6 singles so far I've bought since Oct. and that's about it except what I'm waiting on in the mail. One since Nov 30!
Avatar 3:53pm Debbie Davenport:

Balls to the wall! I didn't expect Accept.
Avatar 3:54pm Naughty No No:

nor did I lol but this rules
Avatar 3:55pm Debbie Davenport:

and it fits!
Avatar 3:56pm Mr Fab:

Avatar 4:11pm Mr Fab:

Fond memories of flinging myself into the mosh pit when Iggy did this one at the Hollywood Palladium, late ‘80s.
Avatar 4:14pm Dolor-X:

Iggy always brings the good memories for me too, Mr. Fab.
Avatar 4:16pm Dolor-X:

He was kind enough and humble enough to give my scruffy high school friends and I a little time to talk to him after a small show at small venue in Sacramento circa ‘82.
Avatar 4:17pm Debbie Davenport:

that's super cool Dolor-X!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm Aitch:

Hey Rooomers
Avatar 4:18pm Dolor-X:

Avatar 4:20pm Dolor-X:

Avatar 4:21pm Dolor-X:

Yes to ACCEPT!!!
Avatar 4:23pm Debbie Davenport:

Yes!
It's fun to check out the different sleeves. I just now ordered the Saturday Morning Cartoon Show record.
and I had a mystery answered about what song was it that mentions the rolling stones.
and all the fun chatroom people.
Good time!!! <3
  4:24pm Cheree July:

I'd pay good money to hear that version💰
Avatar 4:24pm Debbie Davenport:

OMG who wouldn't hire Noah?! Bad decision.
Avatar 4:26pm Mr Fab:

"Bang A Gong"? Never heard of it!
Avatar 4:26pm Dolor-X:

Yes, Noah needs to somehow share his “I Got A Right” audition.
  4:28pm Milkies:

This lovely community brings the glittering warm fuzzies, Debby ✨💖⭐️

Avatar 4:51pm Debbie Davenport:

I bet they could do a two hour show on edible themes.
Avatar 4:52pm Debbie Davenport:

Milkie! It's the fun Circus song we recently talked about!
Avatar 4:53pm Debbie Davenport:

I'm imagining Don shaking his hips to the song.
  4:54pm Milkies:

Avatar 4:54pm Naughty No No:

More of a sway but yep and singing along =)
  4:55pm Milkies:
