They're airing high school basketball right now, so don't change the channel.

understood Ira. and typically when doing archive listening i use both functions to advantage, skipping forward and going back to relisten again, as you say, changing the experience.
ultimately a significant facet of radio, broadcast or streaming, dominates, you can do something else while it is playing so most of the time you just let it run.
