Sceleton Scott and the Wednesday Wonderfuls!

I don't want to jinx it, but we seem to have got through almost a whole Wednesday with just the normal, background-level existential emergencies and no new, er, emerging ones. Really lowers the ol' pulse rate a bit.

I love everything Roy Wood, and most things Move/ELO/Idle Race.

Yes, Roy Wood was on the first ELO album, and a tiny bit of the second. He was the main guy in the Move, which morphed into ELO after Jeff Lynn joined (from the Idle Race). ELO was supposed to be a weird album-, oriented side-project of the Move, but when they started selling more ELO records than Move records, the Move name went away, and then Roy quit (because he wanted to make even weirder pop records, I suppose).

Handy Haversack:

Like the Bop of the Bulge all over again!

Scott, this has been a RIDE. While the last thing I want is a return to the status quo, it sure was nice to have a Wednesday of peace and relative joy with some of the best music and folx around. Thanks for all.

You Wednesday wonderfuls! You stay well.

Wait, asses can cash checks? Wish y'all had told me a few months ago when I could've made use of such a power.

Thank you Scott and alter ego Skeleton Scott, and everyone have a good afternoon/evening.

i lived above the hell's angels on 4th street when they had the building on 3rd. they threw their garbage bags over the wall into our courtyard. did it every morning for three days andthe super wouldn't do anything. 4th morning i went out and threw them all back, my wife saying ' you're going to get us killed.' it was a tall wall so they couldn't see who it was and it ended.

Mariano, my father in law was part of that whole scene, so I have the first hand skinny on it all.

Still talk to working musicians who say they've played for the Angels & had a good time ...w/ machine gun bearing guards @ the door ...& except for the unhappy mean one w/ one hand...

I know of a biker movie, not hippies but rich white-collar guys.

Pray for the Wildcats (1974) starring William Shatner, Andy Griffith and Robert "Brady Bunch" Reed. www.imdb.com... Loved this film as a kid.
