I learned Down The Road Apiece off the Stones album, and as I was playing it, sitting there playing it over and over with my guitar, my Mom came up and said, Oh I know this song. She rummaged around in the record pile and pulled out her 78 of the Ella Mae Morse version. That's when I learned that she was cool, and started going thru >her< records.
