I also saw Sylvain Sylvain up close a few times in Austin at Hotel Vegas when he had a residency there shortly before he was diagnosed with cancer

On a personal level, I always associate him with the Continental in NYC because I saw him play there so many times in the early '90s. I have great personal story involving Syl and Jerry Nolan....

	♥ 4:45pm coelacanth∅: personality crisis of course DID jump out at me; but still i hated the muddiness. -a handful of records i bought "remastered" cds of, despite having perfectly good copies on vinyl, with hopes of a clearer sound. i often hate vintage music remastered for today's tastes, but it's a ditch effort. it worked out with love it to death and plastic surgery disasters. not so much for layla and other love songs. anyway i don't know why i never thought to try it with the new york dolls album.

	✖ ♥ 4:50pm Candy-O'67: Every time I hear 7-day weekend, I totally think about one time when I was living in Long Beach (this is when I still drank) and we had seen Black Halos at Alex's bar and the band and several friends came to my apartment after the show to party. We had this song blasting on my record player over and over again! That's about all I remember except the neighbors called the cops and busted it up!! Hahahaha!

	♥ 4:45pm coelacanth∅: personality crisis of course DID jump out at me; but still i hated the muddiness. -a handful of records i bought "remastered" cds of, despite having perfectly good copies on vinyl, with hopes of a clearer sound. i often hate vintage music remastered for today's tastes, but it's a ditch effort. it worked out with love it to death and plastic surgery disasters. not so much for layla and other love songs. anyway i don't know why i never thought to try it with the new york dolls album.

	✖ ♥ 4:50pm Candy-O'67: Every time I hear 7-day weekend, I totally think about one time when I was living in Long Beach (this is when I still drank) and we had seen Black Halos at Alex's bar and the band and several friends came to my apartment after the show to party. We had this song blasting on my record player over and over again! That's about all I remember except the neighbors called the cops and busted it up!! Hahahaha!
