I once Sunburned Hand of Man in NYC in 2006 of what used to be an abandoned apt bldg. Each of the members played in different rooms. Blazing show, and you had to walk around to hear different persectives.

(told this story last week) Also, 2006, in E Williamsburg, Quintron & Miss Pussycat played at a friends' house (including someone who used to have a wfmu show) in the basement, then the sewage pipe broke, luckily at ground level outside. It made it tricky leaving the place. Of course, it was called Ft Awesome.

ngh: I used to see raccoons in Carroll Gardens. There was one climbing down my fire escape once that was so big it almost could've been a kid in a raccoon costume. Another time one was trotting down Hoyt St like it was nobody's business.
