Comment: The First 22 mins. of this episode were recorded October 22, 2012 in Union Square Park, Manhattan. The ocassion was the 17th National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation. It was a heavy scene, but an important one. I did have some sonic difficulties in recording the guest speakers as their voices came through a PA system. Very muddy result. Apologies there. I also had a stockpile of 17 flea market finds that were burning a hole in my imagination and I really needed to play them. So ... following the footage from the Protest and March, you'll hear The 17 Sizzlers! I do like this group of records. A strange episode, but an episode nonetheless.
