Comment: And so ... another Dusty Show is in the can. Thank you for checking it out. As I am typing this, we are in the midst of a month-long Silent Fundraiser at FMU. It is not one that we are talking about on the air (sa as NOT to bother you!). That said, I could really use your support if you can make a pledge. Last week after the Triumvirate Reunion and Duel with Fabio and Julie, I did very well with pledges. This week, on my own and dealing mainly with politics, I did poorly. Only a 2% 'bump'. I suppose the larger question is whether or not the listeners are interested in politics and the coverage I try to do pretty frequently. I can certainly understand that you are probably inundated with political coverage on the media right now with the election approaching. I sometimes wrongly assume that everyone shares my obsession and addiction to politics, which of course, many do not. I really enjoy talking about it, but perhaps I am overdoing it and losing some of you. I would be interested to know your opinions. It would be much easier for me to go 'live' and play records or take phone calls, but it wouldn't be as satisfying for me. With the new schedule coming up, I am trying to decide whether or not to ask for a renewal of the program. Again, your input would be most appreciated concerning what you like and don't like about The Dusty Show. I look forward to hearing from you. Until next time, enjoy the fall, attend WFMU's Record Fair, and may you find much happiness and fulfillment in all you do. I appreciate your continued support and loyalty. 7 years on ... still Dustyfying. Thanks!!! Take care and ... Always Remember ... Clay Pigeon NYC99
