Comment: I hope you enjoyed this episode of The Dusty Show - another in a growing series of shows based on the Occupy Wall Street Movement. It has been an intense experience for me to document what I have witnessed at Zuccotti and elsewhere, though I am somewhat limited by having only one-hour-a-week at my disposal to try and bring it to you. I have questioned myself several times over the past few weeks, asking what it is exactly I am looking for through this time spent within the movement. It is certainly an opportunity to be close-up to something that has gained traction to become very much talked-about in America and around the world. It's exciting - interesting - emotional - exasperating - dangerous - meaningful - all that ... addicting, perhaps, too. I wonder, as well, if I am not losing listeners by relentlessly doing show-after-show about OWS. I realize it is not for everyone. I may be wrong, but it seems there is a paucity of in-depth coverage of the movement. Lots of soundbytes and high-drama, but not enough on the people themselves, their stories, their feelings and fears and joys - I also take great interest in dissenting views of those turned off by OWS, as America wades through economic and political upheaval, mirroring unrest that has been occurring around the globe. Something significant is afoot and it seems worth examining. All this sounds pretty high-falooting. I know very little, and as always I try to utilize the minds of others to help me get at the truth which is always in there somewhere. As I said, I hope you enjoy these broadcasts and that you get involved one way or another, and make your voice heard. I miss playing 70's rock and writing stories, but all that returns soon enough. Triumvirate, too. Stick with me! Such a long time ago, those Thanksgivings at Aunt May's in Blair, Nebraska. Watching the Cornhuskers on TV, seeing my old Great Grandma who lived to be 104. Long, long ago. Life is good, my friends. Happy Thanksgiving. I am very grateful for your continued interest and support. Always Remember. CPNYC Thanksgiving 2011
