Comment: This episode of The Dusty Show begins at Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan on Saturday. November 13th, some 36-hours before NYC Mayor Bloomberg ordered in police to evict the Occupy Wall Street protestors. I had intended to do another program which focused on life inside the encampment, but the sudden eviction sent me back on the street to cover the proceedings. Hence, I had a lot of extra footage for this show. I ended up editing four-hours of audio footage into a one-hour program, dividing it into two halves --- Pre and Post-Raid. I hope you have found these Occupy Wall Street episodes to be interesting.

Comment: Ahmed took me to City Hall, where I then walked as far as I could before encountering police resistance. There was a small group of protestors at the corner of Cortlandt and Broadway, a couple of blocks from the inaccessible Zuccotti Park, and I joined them and recorded some interviews and sound. All-the-while, the crowd was growing as people who had been at home arrived on the scene. The tension was palpable between the crowd and the police. Everyone was running on adrenaline.
