A new set begins: I'm not on WFMU's next schedule, so I leave you with this great live set + a few extras. Lora-Faye Åshuvud heads up Arthur Moon, a pop-trionica ensemble based in Brooklyn. In an article for Paper, they write 'She's an award-winning composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist who doesn't read music; she writes her lyrics using collaged newspaper clippings, and she cites an out-of-tune banjo and her own aphasia migraines (which cause her to speak nonsensically) as inspiration.' The music is both disorienting and lovely at the same time. Arthur Moon is working on new album and they perform a live set for WFMU. (Thanks also to Bryn Scharenberg for engineering help!)
