A new set begins: After a wrist injury sidelined Cellist/Singer/Songwriter Wes Swing, he took the time away to craft his newest album of sweetly emotional tunes, 'And the Heart.' At age 4 Wes began playing violin, and performed with orchestras as early as the second grade. Cello later became his preferred instrument, adding guitar and other instruments to his musical skills over time. 'And the Heart' showcases Swing's beautiful, emotive voice, looped in with lush layers of cello, guitar and electronics. Wes Swing was recently on tour with frequent collaborator Jeff Gregerson and they played a live set for WFMU.
