A new set begins: Live Performance and chat with Open Kimono (Daria Grace: bass, vocals /Jeff Schaeffer: drums /Daniel Murphy: guitar, keyboards /Pierre De Gaillande: vocals, guitar)
A new set begins: On his last musical project, 'Bad Reputation,' Pierre de Gaillande focused on presenting the gorgeously subversive music of French anarchist poet Georges Brassens to a broader audience. Now, de Gaillande has been focusing more on his own catchy chamber-art-pop music with former bandmates from Melomane and The Snow, dubbing the new ensemble Open Kimono. Pierre has also been keeping busy composing music for film, TV and dance. Open Kimono has a new album available on Bandcamp, and plays live on WFMU.
