A new set begins: An Interview with John of the Pinocchio Theatre - 24th St. and Broadway - NYC
Comment: The Pinocchio Theater is a performance collective that does one-off polyical statement events. In this instance they were pointing out what they alledged to be lies perpetrated by Hillary Clinton. My first thought upon encountering them was that they must be Republicans or Tea Partiers. Turns out they were far left of that. I interviewed a couple of people in thr troupe and then I began to glom onto theie passers-by, assuming they were kind of a pre-screened, politically interested group. It was fortuitous because otherwise I was heading home with nothing on the Wednesday night before the show.

A new set begins: Emerald Hand (Jackalope) - C. Pigeon
Comment: Jeez. Still stupefied that I said Saudi Arabia instead of Syria. Weird the stuff that gets past you when you're not looking. Emerald Hand (Jackalope) is a recent digital exercise in Garageband. I hear distortion.

Carly Simon That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be
A new set begins: Angelika
Comment: There was such a loud atmospheric hum in the Angelika interview that I ended up playing an acoustic guitar background that in tune with the hum in order to try and distract the listener from being annoyed by it. I also changed the pitch on my turntable to match the piano music to the key of the hum. I am dismayed by the amount of digital distortion I am hearing. I do try and mix my levels high because otherwise I can't get it loud enough to play on the air. Digital distortion is absolutely unforgiving and ugly. It's a struggle.
A new set begins: Trump
A new set begins: Japanese - C. Pigeon
Comment: Japanese was an assemblage I did in Garageband using found samples from LPs. 20,000 Leagues Beneath The Sea, Batman, Cledus Maggerd and the Citizens Band, and other digital mistakes. Fun for me, hopefully for you. I wonder sometimes it my digital forays, songs, etc. are too indulgent and are not interesting.
A new set begins: More Pinocchians PArt Tree
Comment: I like how when the guy finds out I'm only from a radio station, he isn't that impressed. He sounded that way, Pretty funny. I guess he was hoping for television.

A new set begins: The Rut You're In - C. Pigeon
Comment: The Rut You're In ... stuff like this I do quickly. Sometimes the mood is negative, I guess, but it doesn't mean it's not valid. Mostly I like recording guitars. Vocals are trickier because to sing high and clear, I need to sing loud, and I can' t do that in our apartment. I'm too shy. So I end up whipsering all the tme and sounding like an old man. WTF.

Comment: Checking in late. I am. Writing this on 10.7.15. I really had ought to be sleeping, but I am up, having just written 'Jefferson's Hole' for the 10.8.Episode. I might do a gun show. Not sure. It would require interviews to be done later tonight. Or, I could go live. That might be fun. I just don't know. Anyway ... thanks for reading this. I appreciate your taking the time to get this far. You must be a real listener. A glistener. But now, as I repair to the aluminum shed, where there is a tungsten pillow where I lay my head, I shall pause before sleep and the last dying ember, to say, dear friend, please ... always remember.
