Comment: This show is called 'Mysterious Daddio' because that was how my father used to sign his correspondence to me. It was an alter-ego he invented, and the basis of various gags, including the Mysterious Daddio Songwriters Institute, under the auspices of which he would send me goofy sample song lyrics he had written. And he really is inscrutable.
