A new set begins: The Doughboys - live in the studio!
Comment: Not the Restless Records' Doughboys of the late '80s/early 1990s. These Doughboys are a 1960s New Jersey garage band from Plainfield. They were regulars on Zacherle's Disc-o-teen and won a battle-of-the-bands contest on that program that earned them a contract with Bell Records. Their two single releases, 'Rhoda Mendelbaum' and 'Everybody Knows My Name' are sought-after collector's items. The Doughboys have recently reunited with a great new album called 'Is It Now'.
