A new set begins: Live performance by Inlets (L to R: Michael Resnick: drums/ Marla Hansen: viola, vocals/ Brett Sroca: Trombone, vocals/ Sebastian Kreuger: vocals, guitar, banjo, piano/ Anna Denbo: piano, vocals/ Sam Rosen: guitar, vocals)
A new set begins: Under the guise of a low-fidelity project out of a Brooklyn nook, Inlets are basically Sebastian Krueger as chamber pop ensemble. Sebastian says, 'I'm writing songs for the allergic. My nose itching from time spent sniffling at my odd ball instrumental writing, I began sneezing out lyrical melody and form in between between writing for my now-defunct instrumental group, and playing in My Brightest Diamond (of Asthmatic Kitty Records). This is the way of the post-academic: Plan, scrape, cough and dream.' Krueger arrived at WFMU with fellow musicians Marla, Sam, Anna, Michael, and Brett to sneeze out a few tunes-- literally! (Sebastian had a fever of 104 the day before.)
