A new set begins: Live performance by Peter Biedermann (guitar, efx) with Colin Biedermann (drums, percussion)
A new set begins: A new album's arrived, and Peter Beidermann came by WFMU's home to play and chat about it. The album, titled Centerpoint, is a fine combination of acoustic and electronic soundscapes for guitar, percussion and drums. Playing along with Peter was his son Colin, who's developed into a fine drummer, complementing his dad's compositions. For those unfamiliar with his music, Biedermann's fretwork is reminiscent of the likes of Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Jon Hassel, David Torn and many other lesser-known pioneers of ambient musical sound structures with improvisation.
