Comment: honestly ... i was too tired to banter with fabio. i am always up very late the night before a show, trying to either finish a cassette or just come up with show segments. it's hard to go live on thursdays sometimes because, after being at work, i am critically sleep-deprived during Dusty Time. Excuses.

Comment: Thanks for listening everyone. And thanks for reading this. This was a fun show for me. I hadn't been on LIVE with Fabio in some time. I guess I wanted to dig in and make some old school, cassette-based, interview shows after Marathon. I did accomplish that to mixed results. Those taped shows can be a tremendous amount of work. I enjoy every minute of it, but trying to find the time to invest in that type of show is very hard. It's a point of recent frustration to be honest. Anyway ... This show was fun and thanks Fabio for sitting in. Thanks, too, to our GREAT callers. Loved you all. I encourage YOU to call in when we're LIVE if you haven't before. C'mon. You'll have FUN! I enjoyed playing a few old classics, too. I really do like to play music as I am a big music fan and record collector. I wish I had 3-hours so I could play a lot more. I have an idea I know what I could play that would pass the WFMU-meter, but I like to test even my own patience most of the time. Anyway ... I won't get into that. I have also been trying to do some digital creations. Normally, they are like mini-musicals or little plays, but just lately I have been doing more of a song-like structure with these things, probably because as an old musician and writer, I might have missed writing songs lately. I know they might not be as interesting as the mini-musicals, but I have to do what interests me any given week. You're probably the same way. At any rate, I hope you enjoy this type of thing. I just keep trying to find formulas that work in an hour framework and that I can do in the time-frame I have. If I didn't think it was worthwhile or any good, well, I guess I'd hang up my spikes. For now, I want to keep going. Thank you again for listening. I really do appreciate it. Write anytime ... dusty@wfmu.org. You can also find me on Facebook and on Twitter. Hard to avoid it these days, but we do have fun at the Pigeonnaires site. Hope 2cu there. Until then ... always remember. Clay Pigeon Chelsea/ NYC7/30/142225899KCRPAIAM2KUXDT
