Live Performance by The Gwens

Kevin Neblung: vox, guitar / Rick : vox, guitar / Mike : bass, vox / Tony :

The Gwens are a pop vocal group who are now starting to do live shows to support an upcoming CD release. (The label is yet to be named) They also played the song "Fingerlakes" off of the The Tell-Tale signs of Earworm compilation released in 1999. The Gwens' single on Kindercore is all but sold out and they just appeared on their new Christmas compilation Kindercore Christmas vol.2. The fall saw one surprise gig for the band, as the opening act for the Olivia Tremor Control on Halloween night at the Knitting Factory. Due out anytime now is their appearence on Luna music's Hydroponic Mascara vol.2. The Saturday after their radio appearence The Gwens begin a regular series of shows at Uncle Joe's Bar on Bay Street in Jersey City.

For info on gigs, or to get their music (including Kevin's wonderful cassette, "Flightless Bricks,") email The Gwens at <gwens1@bellatlantic.net> or <nebs@nic.com>
