French Dub Connection on the German label Echo Beach
| [2]
The Floor of the Forest is an excursion into jazz via the ambiences as
defined by Eno and explored by the Durutti Column. | [3]
Digilogue by Zoviet France on Soleilmoon. My favorite musical
consortium producing the most speculative ambiences known to my ears.
Ambiences that never stop investigating.
| [4]
Elevator 2: Electro-acoustic Mood Music by Curd Duca on Mille Plateaux
AC@force-inc.com
where Duca pursues the limits of unobtrusive beauty and
finds himself being aroused by its outer reaches. Excellent in that it
practices audio coitus interruptus - the sounds that beauty make are
truncated so that they remain sounds, bits, splinters rather than something
you can trance/dance to.
| [5]
Mind the Gap #27 gonzo@planetinternet.be:
an excellent magazine with
an interesting and enduring series of compilations that enterprisingly
promote adventurous musical/noise ensembles
| [6]
World of Echo by Arthur Russell: No one, other than a few dubmasters,
every captured the beauty inside echo better.
