Frank De Vol

Here's my little page in memory of composer/arranger/actor Frank DeVol. Traces of his work dust over my childhood memories in such a strange and intangible way. Those swinging harpsichord flourishes seem to trigger something deep within! Years ago I had contacted him with the thought of doing an interview or some kind of project but was not able to find time to do this, since literally no one had ever seriously catalogued his accomplishments.
He was a pistol to speak with on the phone, with his famously deadpan and morose Happy Kyne delivery. Years after his death, Frank DeVol is finally being recognized by the music cognoscenti and below are some links De-Voted to DeVol - Enjoy!
