My name is Paul. I am a devout WFMU listener and FOT from Lake Charles, Louisiana. I run a blog where I post vinyl mixes of soul/rock/country tunes that I hold dear. I love to share music. I am a record collector in a city where there are NO record stores. Trying to keep it real.
I think a lot can be said about the authenticity of a movie based on its MPAA rating. For instance, in the case of the upcoming tornado movie, no apocalyptic or natural disaster movie could ever be realistic with a PG-13 rating. Are we expected to believe that while these people, of our generation, with what we here in music and see on TV and considering the amount of profanity we've allowed to seep into casual conversation… Are we to believe that while these people dodge flying houses and watch their friends and love ones killed NO ONE utters the F-word more than once?
