@vince
I recently made a mashup pitting KLF's "What Time Is Love?" up against Pop Will Eat Itself's "Dance Of The Mad [Bastards]".

Hi, FஃFஃ!
So here's the story:
This was back in May 2005, IIRC. The contracting firm I work for hired me and a few other coworkers to act as valets for his country club, which had just opened the first nine holes, for a couple of weekends. On the Sunday of the first weekend, we were told by our immediate supervisor at the time that "the man" himself was going to drop by to give us an "evaluation" of our progress so far. Around midday, this limo pulls in right alongside us. A window slowly opens, and sure enough, there he was, in the flesh. The first thing he has us do is introduce ourselves to him, then he tells us (and mind you, I'm just paraphrasing here), "You're all doing a TERRIFIC job. Keep up the good work." Then the limo makes it's way towards the exit.
I don't mind telling you that it was a surreal experience for me, considering that this was the same guy that, just a decade before, had lost a real estate fortune and a wife in what was considered the most expensive divorce settlement in history. And this was while he was hosting his game show "The Apprentice" and the thought of serving a term in the White House was just a gleam in his eye.

Now that you've just alluded to it, Vicki, how about playing something Muppet-related? I was just suggesting to Ken on his chatboard the last two weeks about paying something of an homage to the late Carroll Spinney, the puppeteer behind Big Bird and Oscar The Grouch. The anniversary of his passing is fast approaching, so at least a bit of allusion to his legacy would be in order.

I don't know if you can really replicate the 24-hour Xanadu extravaganza with a different movie - I think there would have to be a similar level of obsession at Sheena's with the subject to carry it off

Funny thing: I have both "The Magic Christian" and "200 Motels" on one of my backup hard drive. Got a chance to see them back-to-back and was surprised to notice the similarities between the two. Not only were both movies released the same year, but both also featured Keith Moon in his infamous nun's outfit, lol!
