	7:09am Renée In Fanwood: Before the days of cell phones, I was living in Brooklyn with my now husband. It had snowed something terrible the night before. It was one of those times that NYC closes down, and people ski down the avenues. We took the subway to Central Park and took a magical walk. Then we sculpted a snow person sitting on a park bench with one arm stretched out over and along the top. We drew a small crowd, and when we were finished people began to sit and take pictures with the snow person, with his arm around them. There were tourists who spoke only a little English, and they had never seen snow before. Our little project made them so happy! And then we continued our walk. I didn’t think to bring a camera, so I have only memories.

	7:09am Renée In Fanwood: Before the days of cell phones, I was living in Brooklyn with my now husband. It had snowed something terrible the night before. It was one of those times that NYC closes down, and people ski down the avenues. We took the subway to Central Park and took a magical walk. Then we sculpted a snow person sitting on a park bench with one arm stretched out over and along the top. We drew a small crowd, and when we were finished people began to sit and take pictures with the snow person, with his arm around them. There were tourists who spoke only a little English, and they had never seen snow before. Our little project made them so happy! And then we continued our walk. I didn’t think to bring a camera, so I have only memories.
