Favoriting November 13, 2020: Incredibly Strange Music Vol. 2 - Chapter 1: Jello Biafra pt. 20 - Do It Yourself Records pt. 2
This episode is dedicated to whomever tried to break into my warehouse of garbage yesterday in downtown Ogden on Wall Street. You broke my door! I guess we've needed to buy a new door for some time now anyway, it was always too small for the frame, so thanks for the encouragement. If you really wanted to steal from a room full of used donated Andy Williams and Classical Music records, I would have given it all to you for the asking. This CD of later 1996 Nicodemus music, released by Paul Major on his Parallel world was my first introduction. I always love low budget odd synth sounds in music. Because my shows are based on books, who knows when I'll ever come back to some artists again in the near future. I few tracks off an album so people can get a feel for it. Especially if they're following along in the books :)

I don't appear on any of the albums, I was one of their stage musicians, with accordion, theremin, unicycle and backup vocals. The only song I wrote and recorded with them was called "The Thoughts of Plants." It was destroyed when Jason's computer crashed.

Yeah, I have very little of my own music before my RIAA/Mr Fab days. I think i have one song by an ‘80s noise terror band of me and other Hollywood scuzz rockers, a demolition of th Modern Lovers “Roadrunner”... so maybe its just as well i probably lost those tapes!

I had a unicycle but couldn't figure out how to ride it. Same with skateboards, and roller skates. I’d get on ‘em, wobble around, and fall down. Lotsa blood.

BC Sterrett:

I was determined to learn it. I'd skip class in high school with a friend to ride it around a local tennis court or in parking lots. I wasn't great but got it down enough. Now I'm too overweight. ha Never got good at skateboards. After breaking both my arms and getting hit by a van, my skateboard mysteriously disappeared after that. It was a pink "Conan the Barbarian" skate board. It was my fault they were banned from Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan...
