Speaking of Kreskin, he was mentalizin’ at Larry Storch’s 90-sumpin’ bday a couple years back. After his act, Kreskin was walking up the theatre aisle, tripped on a step. As he was falling, I caught him, full weight, w one arm, like catching a dodgeball. W/o a second’s pause, he whispered (loudly), “I can see into the fuckin’ future and I couldn’t see that fuckin’ step.” The great ones have no shut-off valve. I became a fan of that goofball right then
