	2:39pm Lotis: There was a 2017 show too Sondy at National w/ Pink and Bolles. It's all hazy, so many shows. Did hang twice with them in MTL though, or maybe it was all a dream.

	2:46pm Mr Fab: Ira of Trouser Press has written down every show he's been to. That would never occur to me. That's like writing down every time I go to a restaurant or sumthin. Way too anal. Tho, of course, now i rack my brains and wish I HAD written it all down. And saved my flyers. And ticket stubs..

	2:47pm Lotis: When I read Cosey's bio a few years ago there were good bits where she was so thankful she had a diary of events to go by, as time is a mofo!
	2:49pm Mr Fab: yeah, at a Ramones exhibit at the Grammy Museum, Johnny Ramone's date book was on display. He kept meticulous notes. The book was open to a page that said simply for one day, "Met Phil Specter."
	2:51pm Mr Fab: "Bolero Boogie"?! I have this on an album by "Eddie Wayne" song entitled "Dig Ye Deep." Also a Jerry Cole pseudonym, I believe. Great version of "rumble," basically.
	2:54pm Mr Fab: Just looked up the album: "The Ping Pong Sound Of Guitars In Percussion" from 1961. So probably the first use of those tracks.

	♥ 3:08pm ARB: 2007 or so they did a reunion and Bemidji was the only US show. I happened to be harvesting sugar beets in nearby Wahpeton, North Dakota and had the day off. It was one of my top shows

	3:18pm Mr Fab: R.I.P. Simeon... o! how I love The Silver Apples. They (and the Velvet Underground) were in New York, as The Monks were in Germany, Syd Barret & Co were in London, and Beefheart in LA, all in their own lonely bizarro worlds, seemingly unconnected to the scenes around them.

	3:20pm Mr Fab: That is mind boggling, Creature Boy! I certainly have never seen Silver Apples in the wild, I'd look like Redd Foxx on "Sanford and Son" clutching my heart..
	3:21pm Lotis: Opposite for me, never caught Contact in a shop.. but did upgrade with old beat up OG first album with the reissue recently.
	3:22pm BC Sterrett: Whenever I witnessed Silver Apples found in the wild it as a friend next to me saying, look what I found! I think it happened twice even.

	♥ 3:26pm Creature Boy: My find was in Los Feliz in-between Hollywood & Silver Lake. Not pristine , i think there was also a Who Sell Out that was pure junk condition. I also found 2 Louvin Bros 45s at the same spot & later an inflated 5$ Barbarians LP

	3:33pm Lotis: I used to go to that shop ARB... back alley shop in the Mile-End area of town. Entered 2nd story in the back of an apartment and bammo, shop with Miss LPs/Little Axe tapes and used records, loads on consignment from local folks and always some sort of brownies to buy or whatnot.
	3:33pm BC Sterrett: Didn't one of the Silver Apples just pass away, like really recently..
	3:33pm Lotis: They closed up I guess when the guy moved, must have been 2014 or 2015.
