It's watchable for me. Potus gets called a liar and a jerk to his face in a debate. It's a first. He needed to be harried and challenged much more over the last 4 years. I think everyone was too careful with him.

something i learned waaaaaay back when i was a kid in the 60s/70s, reading Ann Landers: so many women would write in, asking Ann for advice b/c their husbands were constantly accusing them of cheating on them -- and the wives were not doing any of that at all, nor had any attention of doing so -- and usually it was the husbands who were doing the cheating!
and ever since, i have observed that those who shout the loudest and make the biggest stinks about alleged offenses are the ones who are actually committing those offenses :(

Hi Ira, I'm posting this a few days after this was broadcasted. I saw Yo La Tengo in Champaign, IL in September 2008. You dedicated your encore of Nuclear War to "the junior senator from Illinois". I love that you did that. That's a memory that always sticks with me.
