Me too World's Worst! My wife loved when I played it the other day and it made her want to build a haunted house airB&B where we have that record playing as people come to their room.
Avatar 12:16pm

That Mineo album is so good. For anyone interested in picking up Subliminal Sounds released the intstrumental version a few years back and Modern Harmonic released the version with spoken bits recently.

The 'with spoken bits' version is available on a Hallmark CD or as a download from Trunk for pennies here in the UK

Both are excellent to pick up. The music is actually not even Mineo, most is Roger Roger, library music, licensed.

hello, solo mon!
Linda Lee: i attended a John Cage performance in SF (1988ish) and at the edge of the stage was a coffee maker. I got up and poured myself a cup during the performance. Years later i was talking with a friend who had been a percussionist in that performance, and he said John was very pleased by that!

mornin y'all! Quite an unexpected delight to wake up to Harry Partch. Had the pleasure of seeing John Schneider of KPFK perform with his "Partch" ensemble - seeing Partch's enormous, handsomely-crafted invented instruments live was quite a feast for eyes and ears.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm
