@Craig: we're planning on sitting in the car so it's "standing" rather than parking -- but we also turned off the insurance, and it's cheaper to take a ticket than to pay for a month of insurance! If an actual street sweeper comes down our block, I will be shocked to my core.

The ins. co. was very easy about it. They said as long as we're just leaving it in place, they take it down to basically nothing. I think the bill is like 95 percent off. So it's still technically insured, we're just at 0 mileage.

Lovely bird worm story. Which segués back to me and Lower East Side Ecology Center- we sell red wiggler earthworms too. They are small and not too juicy, but they'z cute. $22/11 for 1/.5 pounds. We can slice them thin if you want (bad joke, sorry).
