Do you have it in Ramco or Ruby?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30pm
Franco Twinkie:

Yes Coel, that is my number one. It belonged to my grandma. My number two board, I found on Haight Street across from Buena Vista Park. And the last one, which I overloaded with LP's, until it collapsed, I found in the rain when I went out to get a burrito, which sadly, I don't do anymore.

In the junk reduction today, I tossed classic car calendar photos. If I wuz loading a trailer, I'd take the 1924 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Boattail Speedster and/or the 1941 Chrysler Imperial Newport Sport Phaeton, IF I can smack the shit out of the steering columns with impunity.

I had a 1964 Volvo 122s wagon. I sold it to a guy who said he sent cars to Europe for restoration. He had been a road manager for a popular British band. It was know they moved lots of heroin in their road cases. I asked him about it and he slyly rubbed his chin and said "Hmm, seems as I've heard something about that." I'll always assume he used my wagon as a mule to get stuff from over here, to over there.

My understanding of the Z3 first gen was that it was something they pushed out for product placement in a James Bond film. Lotsa parts from other platforms, with an emphasis on parts that were being phased out and no longer needed. The rear of the car is held on with 6 little spot welds that don't hold up. Ours is currently held on by one weld. Car hasn't sen the road in 3 years.

I had a Datsun 1200 way back when (before they became Nissan here-they thought Datsun in sounded more American). I think it weighed about 800 lbs, was as tall as it f was long [a real box). It flipped over while I was driving on the FDR drive at about 15-20 mph on a curve (it was raining). More and my dad rolled it back over, and drive it off the highway (but we had to scrunch down because the hood was pushed in). Great old car...
