Whatever happened to leisure suits? I've asked this question many times, but as someone who habitually visits thrift stores, where did they all go? Was there some edict issued out that they all be collected and destroyed?
Avatar 12:18pm
BC Sterrett:

White Gospel Disco. I think this was the only good track.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm
Rich in Washington:

I've found so many of these old white people gospel records usually have one good track.
Avatar 12:21pm
BC Sterrett:

There are so many things that have disappeared that I miss. Slacks with designs, 16 mm films, wigs, spindle star clocks...
Avatar 12:23pm
Mr Fab:

I found a starburst design clock in a Goodwill for only $6. Sold it recently for, like, $85.
Avatar 12:25pm
BC Sterrett:

Man, I still want one. Been searching since the 90's
Avatar 12:25pm

Accidentally turned off this record during the intro. lol

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm
Rich in Washington:

Plain old telephones. They used to be really plentiful in thrift stores, but now that I've got a project that requires them, they've now slipped into 'vintage' or 'antique' categories, so are expensive.
Avatar 12:26pm
BC Sterrett:

Thanks for saying hello Mbomb!

Cassette answering machines...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm
Rich in Washington:

Or even the message cassettes! Those could be a hoot!
Avatar 12:28pm
BC Sterrett:

Home recorded cassettes have dried up around here as well. They disappeared a long time ago, since the shops caught me playing them on the radio.

It's like a Christian puppet records without the puppets. Unless...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm

Weird that it's in English but created for an Ecuadorian christian radio station.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm
