Waking up with Ozzie and Harriet over coffee. Good morning.
  12:05pm
Martinibomb:

I loved Ozzie & Harriet when I was a kid hah. They replayed all the old shows on Disney Channel back in early 80s that's how I saw/heard em.
  12:06pm
Martinibomb:

I still think Ricky Nelson is bad ass for bringing rock n roll into 50s living rooms.
Avatar 12:07pm
Mr Fab:

I like how all the names are run together in that Cranium's ad. It's like a Sheena's version of the Nurse With Would List.

Hello, BC Sterrett, chresti, Mr. F, melinda, Otis, MB, Ozzie and Harriet, Jan and Dean, Pro and Con, and all.

Hey Everyone :) Sorry I'm flubbing a bit this morning. I should be awake now. lol
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm

Oh wow. I see a 'translate this page?' popup in the middle of my submit comment popup. Anyone else encounter that?
Avatar 12:12pm
Otis:

Hi Bunjee! Oh wait, sorry, the cat is here not in the chat room.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm
Rich in Washington:

Don't worry about it, BC! My shows are easily 21% flubs. It's like rat feces in hotdogs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm
Sem:

Lorne Greene, working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, was known around the joint as The Voice of Doom. Alternatively, he was The Guy Who Rocks the Western Neckerchief Thing with Serious Panache.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi BC and EVERYone!!! thoroughly enjoying the show here!
Avatar 12:21pm
Otis:

I think Lorne Greene has like 5 or 6 albums, whadda guy. Telly Savalas level of albums.
Avatar 12:21pm
BC Sterrett:

I buy every Lorne Greene LP I find at thrift stores
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22pm

Hi Rich and Otis!
Avatar 12:23pm

@BC - I purged 4 of them when I left Reno. I would see them all the time in Reno... funny. Never see them in Quebec.

Hi Bunjee!

Love this Denny McLain stuff. I know him more for this than his baseball career.

I bought a cut-out CD of "Christmas with the Cartwrights" in a drug store once.

BC, if you made a flub, I didn't notice, I'm still pretty bleary eyed and eared.
Avatar 12:27pm
BC Sterrett:

I'm glad. All of it was on purpose I should say
Avatar 12:28pm

I like flubs and fumbles. Give me that over polished anytime.

I love Lorne Greene's I'm A Gun.
Avatar 12:28pm

I haven't heard any flubaroonis this AM though. Coffee took effect too!

Avatar 12:29pm

How can I miss, how can I miss, with a hit like this George!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30pm
Rich in Washington:

I remember some older radio DJ telling me 'the listener has no idea what you're going to do, so don't tell them when you do something wrong'. But I like incorporating my wrongness whenever possible.
  12:30pm
Martinibomb:

hah my grandfather had this Record used to play it alll the time. He was huge fan of George
Avatar 12:30pm
Otis:

Get ready to throw tomatoes... but I prefer George Burns' version to The Beatles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
melinda:

@Rich that's an integral part of FMU charm
Avatar 12:31pm
BC Sterrett:

Same here Otis :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
Sem:

George as God, in "Oh, God."

I've made nistakes. Lots.
The avacado! Pit's way too big.
Avatar 12:32pm
Otis:

It's really because I've heard The Beatles version to death, over and over... George is still shiny, new and exciting! Thrilling, quite possibly!
Avatar 12:32pm
Otis:

... on that note... this is the REAL mojo rising. Move over or rather, shut those doors.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm
melinda:

@Sem I thought of Oh, God too, haha.
Avatar 12:33pm
BC Sterrett:

I like the Mae West version better than The Doors as well
Avatar 12:33pm
Otis:

I love the Oh, God movies. Going to watch again now, it's been years. John Denver too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm
Rich in Washington:

I need to see Oh God again, if anything, for Terri Garr. She was in so much stuff back then.
Avatar 12:34pm
Otis:

Here too BC!

hey hey hey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm
Rich in Washington:

Hiya, Ursula1000!
Avatar 12:34pm

That's right, Garr is in God too. She was in so much. I'm sure a couple of Love Boats or Fantasy Island too? Everyone was.
Avatar 12:36pm
Otis:

Bonjour Monsieur UrsulaMille!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm
Rich in Washington:

Love that razor blade bit!
Avatar 12:36pm
Mr Fab:

i prefer Mae West's version of this speech to the original.
Avatar 12:37pm
Ursula1000:

'Allo 'Allo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm
melinda:

I forgot she was in that. I was remembering John Denver and thinking I need to see it again too. I feel like Teri Garr might have been above Love Boat and Fantasy Island, in keeping with the greater division between TV and movie stars of back then, but I could be wrong.
Avatar 12:38pm
Otis:

Oh God on YT - www.youtube.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm
Rich in Washington:

It seemed like it was a period where she played the confused wife of someone going through something wacky. Like in Close Encounters, around the same time as Oh God, and at least a few other films I cannot recall, but pretty much in the same role.
Avatar 12:39pm
Mr Fab:

There was an article on the internet? What year was this issue?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm
Rich in Washington:

I think she did a lot of TV until being in CE3K, which sort of propelled her into the mainstream, so to speak.
Avatar 12:39pm
Mr Fab:

Ah yes, Bob Peck - the poor man's Tom Lehrer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm
Rich in Washington:

She's been dealing with MS for a couple of decades and retired about ten years ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm

Hey! I'm a hippie and I resent that. I mostly sleep on the beach, never in the park.

I wish they'd made that Assignment: Earth series with Teri that star trek spinoff that didn't take
Avatar 12:41pm

Hi Franco T!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm

Teri Garr said in an interview that Gene Wilder was horrible to work with, which was kind of disappointing.

Otis!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm

I KNOW! I recently watched that episode, then immediately watched the episode of Brady Bunch with the '3 Musketeers'. It was backdoor pilot night in Casa De Rich in Washington.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm
Rich in Washington:

The last thing I recall seeing Terri Garr in was Ghost World, as Enid's ex-stepmother.
Avatar 12:43pm
Otis:

I would like to see the Brady Bunch Hawaii episodes now with the curse of a tiki idol.
Avatar 12:44pm
Ursula1000:

Hello Sheena streamers and LMA host BC. It appears that I need to schedule a listen to this show via the archive ASAP.
Avatar 12:53pm
Otis:

@BC - Not sure, not that I recall but maybe Mildred did.
  12:53pm
Martinibomb:

@Ursula I think they just figured out who the actress was who played the human form of the cat in the last few years. She wasn't listed in the credits. It was a contortionist that played the cat/human.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm

Thanks BC! I've got to dash out for errands before it gets too hot, catch y'alls later!
Avatar 12:55pm
