That Fzone pic reminds me of this Trucker TV show with Claude Akins one of the episodes has him in similar cat costume. I was thinking about grabbing it for my avatar soon Lol

I heard something about a sequel a few years ago but not sure what became of it, and i feel pretty hesitant that it would be up to snuff

Avatar 2:22pm
BC Sterrett:

The Forbidden Zone theme song used to be my show opener on "Oddity Rock Radio" for like a decade. (The very first song I ever played over the radio airwaves as well (I think), it has great talk over music afterwards on the CD version)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them):

I think the remake looked terrible, just from bits i saw.

I guess the Princess kept her underpants on.

Ursula1000: i'm a rabid fan of dance craze songs, which are almost always a THE. I made up a dance craze called "The Abduction" but it didn't sweep the nation.
Avatar 2:33pm
Ursula1000:

yeah that Ann M avatar is killer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them):

thanks, i swiped this from one of Station Manager Ken's shows.
Avatar 2:35pm
Ursula1000:

The Abduction---I like it! I know I've mentioned our collabs in the past but one of the new tracks off my latest album is called The Neptune Freeze w Fred Schneider---we're shooting a vid as we speak which will hopefully debut the dance! Not sure what it is yet! But it will be B-movie sci fi-y and very silly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm
chresti:

You could almost call this the "Do" episode
Avatar 2:39pm
BC Sterrett:

No archives of my old show that I'm aware of. Just a garbage bag full of undated cassette/VHS tapes in my storage unit. I was very unorganized. Guest hosted Friendly Persuasion a few times, which may be around in Otis files... So thankful for the archives on WFMU, such a wonderful feature.

BC - I have archives of FP from a decade ago, but shows from just shy of 20 years ago... I do... but they are realmedia files!
Avatar 2:55pm
Otis Fodder:

BC - I still have 'that' contract we wrote up from 18 years ago as a word doc in my archives. The one that kept getting ripped up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm
Franco Twinkie:

Larry was a ghost around Hollywood in his decline. I would see him everywhere. An Evening With Wild Man Fisher is a truly inspired record.
Avatar 2:57pm
Ursula1000:

^fond memories of Dr Demento rocking his stuff
Avatar 2:58pm
BC Sterrett:

Ha ha, that contract that ended up saying he gets everything. lol I really need to do a comic book about my memories with Larry, like the J.R. Williams material.
Avatar 2:58pm
Otis Fodder:

I kick myself still for not making the trip down from Seattle to LA when Daniel and Larry played together and Matt Groenig played referee during a spat, or so the story goes. BC, you were there right?
