(i have seen the last 10-15 minutes of the movie, which i never cared about seeing)
	♥ 1:40am slugluv1313: never saw Hair the musical or the film -- but, the stage production was considered "controversial" at the time b/c of nudity in one scene -- i think all that happened was that the cast took off all their clothes and just stood there, not moving or anything, on a very darkly lit stage and Grease! omg! very very weird lyrics, premise -- ugh! and still, high schools all over the place put on productions of that -- yikes!

I know Spanish has some odd ones: in Spain, green beans are "judías" (jews/jewesses). Black beans and white rice in Cuban cuisine are often called "moros y cristianos" (Moors and Christians).
